Purchasing and Shipping

I am an abstract artist who wants you to be happy with your new painting. If you have any questions please contact me in advance.

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and color. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Please take note that any slight inconsistencies in color between the image represented and the actual artwork is not considered a fault. But you can be confident that the quality of the work that you see in the images is what you will get in real life.

Ordering

How is my payment handled?

Payments are taken through PayPal or Major Credit Card in U.S. dollars. Use the currency converter in the upper right to change to your preferred currency. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. I do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Can I purchase with installments?

If you would like to purchase an original painting over $500, you are welcome to purchase in stages. This can be a helpful option when you've found an artwork that you love but can't pay the full amount today. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting. The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Please contact me if you are interested in arranging this payment plan.

This arrangement is on the honor system at no extra cost to you. My shipping and return policy still apply.

Can I try out the painting I like in my home in the spot I have in mind?

If you are local, I can bring larger paintings to your home for a try-out. If you are not local or prefer, you can send me a photograph of the spot in your home and I can do a mock-up with the painting to show you how it would look.

Do you do commission work?

Yes! If you don't see a painting that would work in your space, I can do a one in the colors you like. Just email me a link to one of my paintings that you are drawn to. Send a photo of the spot you are thinking of and the colors you'd like to see most in the painting. Let me know what size you prefer (we can discuss sizes based on the spot.) There is no deposit and no obligation to purchase the painting that I create. If you are happy with the result, you make the purchase based on my pricing formula. If it's not what you were hoping for, you don't have to buy it and it will be placed for sale on my website.

Shipping

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?

Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Artworks are sent through the U.S. Postal Service depending on size and weight. Most U.S. deliveries arrive within 2 to 5 days from time of shipping. Please allow 10 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?

Yes, if you are local, pick-up will be a choice when you checkout. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a time to meet. My home is in Lawrence Township, New Jersey.

Is shipping included?

Shipping for most artwork is included for delivery to locations in the United States. All international shipping will be calculated at check-out and is the responsibility of the buyer. Please be aware that the international buyer is responsible for any duty or customs fees.

What about large or high-value artworks?

I appreciate this is a high-value purchase of an artwork I have spent much time on! It's important to both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. This will be noted in the shipping details with each product listing. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually – please contact me before purchasing. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is despatched. If you buy online first in order to secure the painting the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you will need a bespoke courier service. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside the U.S.) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. The international customer is responsible for any customs charges.

Returns

What if my painting arrives and it's not really what I wanted?

I want you to be totally happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement. If an original painting is not what you were expecting, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed upon, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service that it was sent to you with. When the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment (minus any shipping charges I have paid) within 14 days.

What if my painting arrives damaged?

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph of the damage and we will figure out what needs to be done to make it right.

What about Overseas Returns?

International returns will be accepted when the painting has been returned safely. At that time your payment will be returned, less the international shipping charges.

I hope that covers it all! If you have any more questions please send me an email before placing your order.
